Kate Kinkle's work is about feeling confident and beautiful through wearable art. Her designs are imaginative and dramatic, while remaining effortlessly cool and easy to wear. Each piece is a representation of Kate's personal style aesthetic; Earth-Witch-Goddess with a whimsical nod to the Renaissance. A story teller who illustrates power, love, and mystery with metal, stone, crystal, and beads; she aims to celebrate women and encourage self-empowerment. Kate's love of jewelry design blossomed while studying Fashion Design at the Seattle Art Institute, where she developed an interest in Medieval/Gothic styles and re-adapting traditional ways of using materials. Since moving to Seattle in 2010, Kate has immersed herself in the city's art and fashion community by participating in several fashion shows, including Runway to Freedom, A Night with the Stars, and RAW: Natural Born Artists. Her jewelry has been showcased at Seattle Fashion Week 2015, and is currently featured at the Coeur d' Alene Resort Spa. She has running internships with the Seattle Opera and Teatro ZinZanni, both of which have exposed her to historical period pieces and further encourage her passion in fusing the dramatic arts into her designs. She is also presently working with the after-school program Little Hands Creations as a sewing instructor, where she is constantly inspired and delighted by her students and their abilities. Kate is an artist with many creative and professional ambitions, grounded by the humble goal of wanting to make women feel beautiful and inspired to let their inner Goddess shine.
